Top Cop Throws Support Behind Kares’s T10 Tournament
Commissioner of Police Clifton Hicken has announced his continued support for the Kares One Guyana T10 Tapeball Blast, committing to ensuring the venues remain safe spaces for families during the second season of the tournament.
The exciting tournament will kick off on August 3 at the Police Sports Club, Lusignan Community Centre Ground, and Queen’s College Ground.
The event will showcase the top 32 Tapeball teams in Guyana competing in a straight knock-out format.
In 2023, Commissioner Hicken participated in the Cricket for Charity Match at the National Stadium, an event led by President Dr. Irfaan Ali.
This year’s charity match and the tournament finals are scheduled for August 25 at the same venue.
In a press release issued earlier today, the tournament organizers expressed immense gratitude for the support of Commissioner Hicken and the Guyana Police Force.
