‘Piss in your mouth’ GRA officer sent home
The Guyana Revenue Authority Officer who promised to ‘piss’ in the mouth of an on-duty policeman has been relieved of his duties as a customs officer.
Custom officials have identified the officer as Jamal Forde a custom officer 1 who up to the time of his verbal abuse of the police rank was stationed at the ‘Boathouse’
BIG Smith News Watch learned that Forde was summoned to a meeting Monday with senior officials of the tax agency’s Head Office on Camp Street.
Forde was instructed to hand over his Guyana Revenue Authority Custom uniform, identification badge, and tie.
One source within GRA explained that the agency would not allow its members and officers to believe they could disrespect another member from a sister agency or any member of the public.
The GRA is now awaiting the police charges in the matter as well as the outcome of an internal investigation to decide the fate of the ‘pissing’ officer.
The video of Forde abusing the police officer will be used internally by GRA in training sessions to guide its other officers on how not to act, based on what was communicated to this publication.
On Saturday last, an encounter between Forde and a party of police saw Forde reportedly promising to ‘Piss’ in the policeman’s mouth after he was cautioned about urinating in front of a business place.
Forde was invited to drive to the police station or be escorted to the station inside a police vehicle, both of which he refused to do. A woman who was with him at the time and who reportedly identified herself as his partner and a member of the Guyana Police Force facilitated him removal from the scene without complying with the police actions.
