‘Supernatural forces’ attack police college, recruits abandon facility

The Felix Austin Police College located at Force Headquarters Eve Leary has been under attack by ‘supernatural forces’ since Sunday and has resulted in several of the trainees packing their bags and leaving the facility while others were picked up by their relatives on Monday evening.

BIG Smith Crime Watch was told that the phenomena worsen between Sunday and Monday night. Account of a young female trainee jumping the fence and running into the waters of the Atlantic Ocean shouting ‘is where she gone, is where she gone’ was also related to this news entity. That recruit was however restrained and escorted back to the college during her bid to progress deeper into the Atlantic waters.

The development has since gotten the attention of the force administration and number of senior officers have since gotten involved.

The police have also invited religious personnel to offer prayers on the premises and for the young recruits which includes males and females from across the country who are undergoing training to become police officers.

There are no reports of similar behaviour at the other police colleges at Suddie in Essequibo or Adventure in Berbice according to our information.

We were told that there are two brothers enrolled at the college and while one was working at police sports club he was reportedly overcome by the ‘supernatural force’ which took his hands and draw a ‘demon-like looking goat’. His brother who was in another section of the facility also had the identical experience simultaneously, according to our sources from the force headquarters.

One recruit also reportedly attempted to hang himself with a rope which slinging from a tree in the training college compound that is used for recreational purposes.

At least two Deputy Commissioners are said to be actively engaging the staff and remaining recruits at the facility even as efforts are being made to have the college return to normalcy.

The Felix Austin Police College has approximately one hundred and eight males and sixty females who are currently in training at the Georgetown facility, representing a number of batches. There were reports that when a fall in parade was called this morning, there were less than a dozen recruits who were present.

The Guyana Police Force Headquarters at Eve Leary houses several departments and building. Also located within the compound is a cemetery which existed since the days of the British rule and which sits between the college and the main administration building of the Guyana Police Force.
