BREAKING: November curfew from midnight to 4am

The Government has adjusted the national curfew time to midnight to 4am from November 01, 2021. This was revealed in the Official Gazette of COVID-19 emergency measures for the next month.

The updated emergency measures still restrict recreational activities at rivers, creeks, beaches or internal waters, private parties and wake or vigil among others. However, businesses will be permitted to remain open upto 11pm. These businesses include markets, supermarkets, gas stations, beauty salons, restaurants and bars and many others.

Buffet dining, according to the measures, is prohibited.

The Ministry of Health on Friday recorded six COVID-19 related deaths taking the overall total to 910. In addition, 94 new cases of the disease was confirmed moving the total confirmed cases since March 2020 to 35,444.
