Chinese airline issues notice about suspension of travel from Guyana
Local travel services have been informed that at least one airline has “temporarily suspended” the transport of China bound passengers from Guyana, Thailand and Cambodia.
In an email seen by this publication, the notice of suspension of the transportation of passengers, list those three countries, “Xiamen Airlines will temporarily suspend the transport of China-bound passengers travelling from the following countries via a third country(by whichever means of transportation they travel to the transit points.”
Prime Minister Mark Phillips said that the notice has been brought to his attention and has been shared with Minister of Public Works Juan Edghill and Head of the Civil Aviation Authority Egbert Fields for further investigation.
